The hotel's location was convenient and easy to find with ample parking. I visited the east lancashire railway nearby. Bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety.
I found that there was no air conditioning and windows only open a tiny amount. It made the room stuffy.

The room was clean and quiet with modern decor. It included a large double bed with good quality linens. The bathroom was well kept and stocked with toiletries. I found the space adequate for a short stay.

workout spacefire alarmcigarette butts
the gym had plenty of equipment (i was able to get a good workout in).
the fire alarm went off multiple times. it was due to someone smoking in their room. the sound continued intermittently for a while, and it was very stressful. there were also many cigarette butts outside the window.

The reception staff were helpful. The room was clean. It was serviced promptly upon request. Facilities onsite were a good way to unwind or stay in shape.
rooms are really basic with no bottles of water. tvs are old also with no smart tv AND the wifi wasn't the best.

bad smellfront desk
the room smelled bad when i first walked in! even after i told the front desk, they didn't do anything. i bought an air freshener just to make it livable. the breakfast was ok, and the location is easy to get around. but the smell was just too much, very stressful.
