i LOVED THE HOTEL'S HISTORY, evident in every corner. the kubbeli lounge is a unique experience. the staff were great, with gamse finding solutions for every guest issue.

the staff were always ready to help with ordering taxis or answering various questions about experiences. EVERYONE i encountered displayed really good service. there was even a small cake and handwritten card waiting for me on my birthday

The hotel staff handled our luggage promptly upon arrival. Rose tea was served during check-in. It added a unique touch to our experience. The water pressure in our room was excellent, much appreciated after traveling..
I noticed that the bar seemed understaffed one evening, it took a while to get service. We waited longer than expected for our order to be taken. This delay impacted our ability to fully enjoy the bar area, as the wait was an inconvenience.

honestly, the minibar situation was a bit of a letdown. it was stocked, sure, but the selection seemed like it hadn't been updated since the '90s.. where's the fancy artisanal water, huh? also, the noise level from the street at night was higher than i anticipated. maybe i should have packed earplugs or requested a room further from the action.. oh well.

the lavish breakfast buffet included many options. i found fresh pastries, cheeses, and fruits. eggs were cooked to order, i thought. the hotel is near istiklal avenue. galata tower is a short walk away.
the front desk staff seemed disorganised. it looked overstaffed to me. the head of the front desk was unhelpful. we landed early after a long flight.
