A Charmed Castle Experience

I found the castle approach and all the pheasants running around charming. The atmosphere and walk across the bridge to the castle gates created a special experience. I enjoyed wandering around inside the castle, especially the staircases. My Clotton 111 room was amazing and decorated in a classic style.
The cupboard that housed the tea tray needed French polishing. Possibly glass over it would prevent spoiling.

The castle offered an excellent chapel. I would have loved to explore it. The wine cellar provided a nice place for drinks. There is convenient parking available in the woods, so guests can easily access the castle.

The location felt lovely, greatly adding to the experience of staying at a castle. The long wooded driveway created a sense of magic upon arrival. External walls are two feet thick. It's a excellent building.

The breakfast selection had plenty of choices and the evening meal was excellent. ALL the staff were pleasant. The room had a classic decor befitting the castle. The location felt quiet and restful even though a wedding took place.

The team provided a warm welcome and was friendly, always available when needed. This contributes to the overall positive atmosphere of the stay. Service at the wedding breakfast was really good considering the number of guests, and the meal was very good indeed, showing attention to detail.

Our room featured dressing gowns, slippers, tea, coffee, and bottled water. The bed was very comfortable, which ensured a good night's sleep, and the room was super clean. The spacious room felt very cozy. It was decorated handsomely and all the furnishings were of a medieval castle style.

The castle building impressed me with its exterior walls. I observed that the staff members were cute and helpful. They provided assistance whenever needed. The location proved fantastic.
I noticed very thin walls between rooms. This impacted my privacy negatively. The cooked breakfast lacked warmth. The porridge wasn't cooked thoroughly, diminishing the dining experience.

The location was quiet. The surrounding forest provided a peaceful atmosphere, a welcome change from city noise. Staff members were attentive to my needs. Breakfast offered a delicious start to the day, I particularly enjoyed the homemade hash browns.

The service in the brasserie was quite poor. Slow and the staff seemed uninterested. the bar service was slow as well. i ordered two cocktails, the barman consulted instructions on the wall and asked someone how to make them. given the cost of £24, staff should know the menu, though. Adding a 10% service charge felt excessive!
