The location suited my travel plans perfectly. The room had everything I needed. Staff members were helpful and friendly. I felt welcome. I could find secured parking because there were barriers in the car park. This added peace of mind.

I found the restaurant offered a good choice of food. the room was very comfortable. It featured an ensuite bathroom and a sitting area. the staff members were friendly and helpful to me.
I noticed the room was slightly tired. This detracted very little from my stay.

great stopover!

the room overlooked the river. it was so peaceful. the team really made this hotel shine, especially rebecca at check-in and kevin and ben in the bar. i found free parking too and it wasn't some anpr nonsense.
the en-suite bathroom toilet felt close to the wall where the toilet roll holder was. i had to sit at an angle.

The breakfast choices were great. Staff were all great. They were also very helpful. I have stayed here many times.
My room had a slight musty smell. Some lights were flickering. I got the impression this was not new and was just a neglected repair. The charging system seemed dated and inadequate.

the room was spacious and very clean. the bed was very comfortable for a good night sleep. breakfast offered a lot of choice and the food tasted good.
the bathroom had a smell of sewage i didn't like. i heard noise from other guests partying until late. the hotel looks a bit tired and needs some updates for a better experience.
