pleasant stay with minor hiccups

i really love the glasshouse restaurant. it gives such a variety of food. i got a table on the lower level and i could see the views outside. my room was spacious, but it felt cozy at the same time. the bathroom was clean and large too.
i stayed in the clarendon suite for four nights over christmas 2024. when i arrived, i had to wait to check in. after we were shown to our suite, i notice the complimentary bar wasn't prepared how it should be. a bottle of wine in the bottle cooler was open and half empty.

charming stay, minor blip

the glasshouse served us coffee and ice cream on a sunday morning, it was quite nice. the staff were very friendly, they managed to combine elegance and warmth, it's really quite an achievement. we had biscuits with our coffee, and the waiter, jack, brought the children more biscuits without us having to ask which was really quite nice. sitting in the beautiful gardens, we decided to vacation there next year and book a holiday here for the family.

the glasshouse offers good snacks and drinks, i would like to say. the buffet breakfast provides a wide range of options, including hot and cold dishes. the food choices are generally excellent, so you don't worry.

excellent facilities are present, good parking is always apreciated. the grounds offer very nice walks, they are a good place to clear your head. the pool area includes sunbeds, for your nice tan.

the room provide spaciousness, cleanliness and a visually aesthetic, is quite a combo. a complimentary mini bar stocked with snacks, spirits, champagne, wine, water and chocolates were available. bath tub water was good and the water run smoothly.

the staff were kind at check-in, they are a real asset for this hotel. the front of house team member was friendly, we had a nice chat. one staff member had a friendly banter which put at ease.
