relaxing getaway
swimming poolwonderful staff
the swimming pool and the steam room were particularly enjoyable. i also had an evening meal in harry's bar and it was very good. staff were wonderful, and breakfast included full english and continental options. the shower in our room was amazing, as were the showers at the spa.

The in-room dining service was poor. It took an excessive amount of time, 25 minutes, to reach someone to place an order. A chicken burger and a Diet Coke were quoted at an hour and a half for delivery. This is not acceptable. The pool area needs attention. I found myself covered in other people's hair during my swim.

Horwood house offered a wonderful, much-needed break from the real world. my mum and i enjoyed a rural spa retreat package for one night. the spa was well-equipped and clean. It promoted relaxation. the package included a two-course lunch and funds for dinner and breakfast.
I noticed the hand wash in our room was broken. we had to use shower gel to wash our hands. i politely told the front desk. They noted it but did not fix it .

Sophie keech helped me greatly. She presented every option with such care and clarity, this simplified the planning of my husband's 40th birthday surprise. her grace and professionalism shone. She managed every question with ease, and nothing reminded me of an imposition. i appreciated the attention to detail and genuine warmth. The experience felt special. i eagerly anticipated our stay, time in the spa, lovely meals, and complete relaxation.
the staff was friendly, but the service in the restaurant was noticeably slow, and i did see one waiter spill beer on a customer without much follow-up.

I had a really great time even though i got a little lost finding my room sometimes! the staff were nice and helpful. Their politeness really stood out. harry's bar offered lush food. i especially appreciated dagmara, our waitress, she was fabulous.
the shower head in my classic room could not be adjusted. it was fixed too high, a minor inconvenience.

The staff were friendly. The breakfast included a good choice. I appreciated the good service and price at Harry's bar. The food was very good.
Our room was small. There were no bottles of water. The showers were broken, and the changing facilities were communal. The pool was also very cold and very small.
