the premises had beautiful features and were located in a great spot.
The room i was in proved a bit disappointing. The air conditioning unit didn't seem to function properly. i tried adjusting the settings, but the temperature remained stubbornly warm was great. also, the breakfast setup felt inadequate for the number of guests, several items kept running out and weren't restocked quickly enough, i was surprised.

The bed proved acceptably comfortable.
The air conditioning did not function during a particularly hot day. Two fans were provided. They did not suffice to cool the room effectively, the sealed windows looked uncleaned.

The Alice restaurant provided great meals (I particularly enjoyed the desserts!). The staff were friendly and chatty, a real benefit. The hotel's architecture displayed Victorian Gothic design. The Ashmolean Museum is just opposite the building.
The room lacked a working espresso machine.
