dining service great food respectful staff small room damp mould rust marks
The breakfast had plenty of choice. The dining service in the Garden Room was excellent. The food was also great. The staff were always courteous and helpful.
The room was quite small. I noticed black marks and damp mould on the wallpaper. There were also rust marks on the carpet. This wasn't ideal.

untrained staff chipped cup
The service felt somewhat disorganised. I saw many young, seemingly undertrained staff. Tables were uncleared, and staff members chatted amongst themselves! It was hard to get anyone's attention. This seemed strange. My coffee arrived in A cup with A chip on it.

The hotel staff was very helpful. The room had super clean sheets. The communal interiors were beautiful (i especially enjoyed the lobby).

Acceptable Stay , but Some Issues
run down leisure lack of maintenance
the building is fine , i liked the communal areas.
the leisure facilities are getting a bit run down , i noticed it. it looks like they are not maintained as well as they could be. the facilities are still nice to use , but there are signs of wear and tear. it's a shame because they could be much better with a bit more attention.

beach view clean room filling breakfast
I REALLY liked the upgraded room. It gave a beach view. The room itself was clean, and it was VERY spacious. Breakfast was included and filling. I ALSO enjoyed great food at the restaurant the first night. I recommend the steak.

comfortable furnishings spacious bathroom tea facilities friendly staff
My classic double room side sea view was wonderful! the room featured comfortable furnishings. A beautiful spacious bathroom had a bath. Tea and coffee facilities existed in the room. The facilities included an indoor swimming pool and a steam room. I could not have wanted more from the room and hotel. The staff were friendly.
The breakfast seating times had to be pre specified. This limited flexibility.

The hotel provides both indoor and outdoor pools for swimming. Towels and dressing gowns are available near the poolwith extra comfort. There is also a gym available. It has modern equipment allowing guests to maintain their fitness routines while away from home.

Breakfast offered many options. The service in the dining room was attentive. Afternoon tea proved to be a good experience, especially with the fresh sandwiches, flavorful cakes, and irresistible scones it is hard to forget. Dining at this hotel was superb.
