i booked six rooms for a family wake, and everyone appreciated the setup. we have stayed here numerous times, previously under different management. the staff were consistently smiling and very engaging, a really lovely thing to see. the bedroom was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious.
The hotel is a little tired and could use some redecorating. Rooms are a distance from reception.

the hotel has large grounds including a golf course. i saw a pool and leisure complex. the restaurant had very good staff, izzie was first class.
the walls between rooms are thin. i heard noise at 1am. the room we had as a pet friendly room was not cleaned well. there were many patches on the carpet.

My friend and i stayed in a twin room, and it was impeccably clean (i really appreciated that). the beds were a great size, and the room was very quiet. we enjoyed cocktails and dinner. The selection was extensive. breakfast had a great layout with lovely hot drinks.
during my stay, i noticed that some areas could benefit from a bit of redecoration to freshen them up.
