The AC worked in the room, a definite bonus.

The shower flooded the bathroom rather spectacularly.. The carpet became soaked, leading to an uncomfortable time getting ready for dinner. I also detected a strong smell of weed later that evening. Just what I needed.

I noticed the hotel did not inform me of ongoing building work. There was concrete spraying noise lasting ten hours. This disturbance impacted my overall experience negatively. I think the hotel should have informed me about it.
