faulty plug electric shock
The room was great.. it was spacious.
The heat in the room was unbearable. I requested a fan, but when my partner plugged it in, he received an electric shock. The casing on the plug was completely faulty. We contacted reception and declined their offer of prosecco.

adequate stay with minor issues
high temperature limited selection
the room temperature was too high. i did turn off the heating, but it remained uncomfortably warm. also, i found the breakfast selection quite limited. there were not many options available, and the quality was not what i expect.

double shower fresh fruit friendly staff
the room included a double shower it felt quite luxurious i found the bed very comfortable i had a restful sleep the breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked fresh fruit was available too the staff were helpful and friendly their care was lovely
the pool was quite busy i wished it was easier to access

superior room ample choice
the room was a quay view superior room it offered sufficient space. the breakfast had plenty of choice including vegetarian options. the car park was conveniently located next to the hotel i found this helpful.
i noted a fee for using the car park despite being a hotel guest this was unexpected.
