excellent stay at an amazing hotel

the staff was helpful and efficient. i found plentiful toiletries and amenity kits in the bathrooms. cleanliness was obvious throughout my stay. i enjoyed dinner at sandemans and the food was fantastic.
The spa was a little tired. i found it equally enjoyable.

Underwhelming Stay. Service and Room Issues Present

faulty shower headslow service
I was pretty frustrated. The shower head in my Woodland Room did not work so I had to use the hand-held shower. This was inconvenient. The bathroom door also had issues as I could not lock it fully. This is annoying in a supposedly nice hotel! The bar lacked staff, and it took a very long time to get a drink. It seemed like the service didn't match the hotel's expensive price tag.

the concierge team was friendly. they offered great service from greeting us at the car.
after using the pool, the shower head did not work. i had to shower with the handheld shower, it was inconvenient. the bathroom door was faulty, so i could not close it fully.
