good breakfast kind staff cold water broken light
The breakfast was good. There was plenty of choice, and one of the staff was very kind. Pat was very nice as he asked how I was and spent a bit of time with me since I was on my own. It helped me feel more comfortable.
The steam room was out of action. The water in both the pool and the hot tub was not very warm, I felt a bit cold. The light fitting in the bathroom ceiling was hanging out. I almost touched it. This.

great selection easy access
the breakfast buffet included a great selection and the food tasted good. the pool and steam room were relaxing after long walks, it's true. i also appreciated the proximity to the main street for easy access to shops.

buffet attention gym equipment
the breakfast buffet needed more attention from staff sometimes items ran out quickly also some noise occurred early in the morning it seemed to come from deliveries or maintenance i'm not sure the noise woke me up one morning the gym equipment looked a little tired it needed some updating.

Acceptable, but Some Issues

The breakfast had a fantastic choice of food.
I was disappointed by the damp smell throughout the hotel. The shower in my room was filthy and full of mould. It was disgusting, I can tell you.
