underwhelming stay.

good sizeuncomfortable bedslow fix
the room was a good size.
The bed was not what i expected. It seemed like two singles pushed together. i could feel the ridge in the middle, i found it uncomfortable. the bathroom towel rail wouldn't turn off and it took them a long time to fix it. i reported it twice, but it wasn't sorted out quickly.

lovely stay

friendly receptionistgreat trainingexpensive experience
The receptionist was very friendly and efficient. The barman was professional and polite. the breakfast staff were clear and cute, showing great training from the management. i found the staff member devine a joy. We had a laugh during afternoon tea. she enhanced my experience greatly.
The afternoon tea was not worth the price. a slug was on the table, apparently from the sandwiches. the waiter's explanation was unconvincing, and the manager's promised call never happened. i expected more from such an expensive experience. It ruined the meal.
Location
9/10
The location allows immediate access to the city center. A pedestrian bridge sits directly across from the hotel entrance. this offers very convenient access to shops and restaurants. The immediate area is quiet. access to city amenities is straightforward.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel offers safe, covered parking. i had no trouble parking directly across from the hotel. the price was £24 per car each night. the doormen offer helpful service. They assisted with luggage.
Rooms
10/10
the room was a beautiful king double or twin. it had ample seating and closet space. the bathroom felt modern and included high-quality toiletries. everything was clean and well kept, reflecting attention to detail.
