i found the room to be very nice and neat. there were lots of nice walks nearby, and the hotel is right by the river, offering beautiful scenery.
the food and drink prices at the hotel seemed a little overpriced.

The spa treatment I received was lovely. It left my skin feeling amazing. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of options. The loft room was fine and contained everything I needed for my stay there.

the location was really lovely, only 20 minutes drive from windermere. the bed provided comfort. air conditioning in the room was great, especially when the weather was quite hot.
i was looking to fill out the breakfast room service door hanger upon arrival, but there was no pen available in the room. it was a slight inconvenience, as i had to go to reception to ask for one.

a good lakeside retreat

the staff was super helpful, especially with getting a takeaway coffee. i really appreciated it when a staff member went to another part of the hotel to find a takeaway cup for me. the outdoor spa area is beautiful too. the food at breakfast and dinner was excellent, with lovely touches like locally produced coffee.
i noticed some slight staining on the carpet in my room.

the hotel's location aside a tributary leading to lake windermere is wonderful! it is perfect for a scenic walk. south lakeside is just one mile away. the setting makes for very relaxing and enjoyable.
