the location is fantastic, close to many attractions. the gardens offer a peaceful retreat from the city. i found the staff attentive and helpful, addressing all my needs promptly.
the bathroom was smaller than expected, given the size of the room.

spa facilities lovely treatments fresh breakfast romantic elements
The spa facilities are great. Treatments were lovely. The breakfast included cinnamon poached pears and spice infused fruit. Everything tasted fresh. The period hotel displays gorgeous aesthetics and romantic elements. The location is a short walk to the center and restaurants.
The sink in my room made a loud gurgling sound when other people used water.

The room i booked felt pretty average considering the price (i had expected a bit more space). i found myself needing to request extra towels on several occasions. the spa area was also disappointing. I encountered a broken toilet seat in the ladies' changing room, quite off-putting.
