The room was lovely and the bed was excellent. It was very comfortable. i appreciated the little things like the toilet paper being folded back, tissues being available, proper glasses in the bathroom, and coffee pods instead of instant coffee. i also enjoyed the complimentary gin. i know it might be hard to afford during high season. This stay was a real treat.
the duvet cover had what looked like dry blood and hair on it! someone had to come late to change the bedding.

The bar music was quite loud, super audible in my room, a little annoying. Constant loud chair sounds also came from above.

loud musicdisruptive noises
the noise level proved problematic. a wedding reception occurred . loud music vibrated through the walls until midnight. staff indicated the music would be lowered. this adjustment never occurred. i had to relocate rooms. the replacement room had disruptive noises. specifically, i heard chairs dragged from an upper floor, possibly from the veranda. it was a bad experience.
