the spa facilities were adequate i could book it for ninety minutes only for myself this meant no crowds. the hotel sits alone in a small village perfect for my desire to relax i think this stay met my expectations.
i found the hotel's wifi to be consistently nonfunctional throughout my entire stay i was unable to watch television in the mornings.

The bar offered excellent ales. The breakfast included perfect bacon and eggs. Staff members were enthusiastic and helpful. They enhanced my stay.

peeling paint shower pressure
the breakfast offered a wide range of options and proved quite satisfactory.
the room i received was not ready at the specified check-in time, it caused a delay of over an hour. furthermore, peeling paint marred the bedroom and bathroom walls. the water pressure in the shower was also not adequate.

historical architecture friendly staff relaxed atmosphere
I appreciated the historical architecture and unique charm of the building. It felt very special. Staff members were friendly and always ready to help. The atmosphere was relaxed, not at all pretentious.
This information was not clearly advertised beforehand. Therefore, i couldn't relax in the pool as hoped.

the breakfast offered excellent quality food, which i found acceptable.
the room i was given had visible black mold on the walls, i was not happy. it seemed like the staff weren't surprised and offered no apology for this issue. a room swap was arranged at the pub nearby, but it was significantly smaller.
