lovely grounds comfortable bed powerful shower extra cost additional fee no hot water
the grounds were lovely and provided a space for a nice walk. my room was clean with a comfortable bed. the shower had plenty of power and was hot.
i discovered i had to pay extra for the swimming pool. the cost was £12 per head. there was no hot water in my first room, so i had to move to another room.

slow service limited menu
The restaurant service was quite slow. We waited a while to be seated, though many tables were open. staff walked by without really noticing us, and it took some time to get a jug of water i requested. also, some menu items were unavailable, so our choices were limited, it's a real shame!

I found the staff friendly. the room was lovely and so very relaxing. the location is beautiful. Such fine surroundings!
the signage to the hotel was poor. it was quite easy to miss a turn, and i almost got stuck near the overflowing river near the hotel.

The breakfast had a wide range of choices. Staff were attentive and helpful to me. The grounds were beautiful, I liked it a lot.
There was a extra charge to use the pool facilities. i paid alot of money to stay here. i thought i could have a nice relaxing weekend and enjoy the hotel facilities.

The restaurant provided an excellent evening meal!!! anna's cute service was especially attentive. the breakfast options had tasty vegan sausages. These were available upon request. we were greeted with a warm bedroom in the original building. It was perfect.
i noticed the signage and directions could be improved.

good stay, great features
beautiful grounds polite staff delicious food original building
i found the restaurant and bar staff very polite and professional the food in the restaurant was delicious. the evening service was really good anna was amazingly cute and attentive. breakfast was great tasty and had enough options vegan sausages were available separately. i enjoyed walking into a warm bedroom in the original building gifts were brought into the room and presented nicely.
the pool area could use a refresh i noticed some patched areas on the ceiling as well as some mold and flaky paint around the windows

the location provided convenient access to various destinations. the grounds were beautiful including a lake a bridge and a field. these features made it a very beautiful place for weddings and other events

the breakfast service was well presented and the staff kept everything stocked. staff members were well mannered helpful and i experienced a quick response when addressing a request. the staff was excellent

decent stay with some issues
uncomfortable mattress staff greeting
the room was clean. (i especially liked the bathroom.)
The staff didn't greet us warmly. the mattress was quite uncomfortable. I could feel the springs. there was also no phone signal in the area.
