attentive staff delicious food
I really appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. The Sunday lunch at the Walled Garden Restaurant was delicious, especially the food. My daughters enjoyed a spa treatment. They highly recommend it.

charmed retreat
delicious food unique experience attentive staff
i found the food consistently delicious at every meal. the equestrian center provided a unique experience with well-cared for horses. the staff was attentive, fulfilling requests promptly, such as providing extra towels and pillows. i particularly enjoyed the variety of spa treatments.
The minibar prices were a bit high. I think providing a complimentary bottle of water would enhance the experience

easy arrival detailed tour personal touch friendly staff
This hotel was a real pleasure. the staff took care of everything. Luggage and car parking were handled with ease. Gareth checked me in and gave me a detailed tour, guiding me to my rooms. I especially appreciated the dedication and personal touch shown by the entire staff.
The room service menu was a little basic. I wanted more options considering the hotel's reputation.

The grounds feature tennis courts. There is an very nice hideaway for kids, which includes bikes and games. An outdoor gym and playground are also present. The spa offers a peaceful retreat.

limited menu rushed staff
I found some aspects of the stay less than stellar. The room service menu felt somewhat limited. It needed more options. I asked for a burger from the Brasserie menu through room service. I was told a chicken burger was available, but not a beef one,, let's say, interesting. The staff seemed a bit rushed at times, lacking the attentive charm i expected.
