a fairly nice stay
outdoor pool relaxing experience central location impersonal check-in smaller bed poor management
i really liked the outdoor pool. it was warm and refreshing. the spa had a lot of different rooms. it gave me the ultimate relaxing experience. the location was perfect near the center.
the check-in felt impersonal to me. i did not sense warmth. the staff gave me a lower priced attic room. it had a smaller bed than what i had booked. the deputy manager said he would follow up with me. he never did, and i waited a week.

drab decoration poor taste
the hotel has a thermal spa , a real treat.
the decoration is disappointingly drab. i found the decor to be in poor taste. this is quite unexpected for a 5 star hotel. i expected much better quality and design.

small portions tough bacon
the room lacked a safe. coffee facilities consisted of a basic kettle and mediocre instant coffee. i found the decor a bit dated, and the food at breakfast underwhelmed, especially the tough bacon and small portions.

some disappointments marred the stay
limited tea bags sauna temperature
i encountered a few issues that detracted from the experience. the road to the hotel was closed on arrival, and i was instructed to move the barriers myself. i found only three tea bags in the room , and this felt insufficient. breakfast staff seemed unhappy , and the finish sauna was only 50 degrees, far below the expected 70-80 degrees.
