The grounds featured a gorgeous collection of plants and flowers. I especially loved the labyrinth garden (it had lovely benches!). bill, the head gardener, was very friendly. We chatted with him every morning. the staff were amazing. the hotel has cozy spots to read or have a drink.

I thought the rooms needed some work. The shower screen had slight mould.

Our room in the main house was large and super clean. It had everything we needed. the bed was very comfortable, and the linens felt luxurious. the toiletries were noble isle brand, a super touch.

The spa included a pool, a steam room, and a jacuzzi. It was all presented very well. i saw toiletries and towels in good supply. there was even a warm outside shower for cleaning dogs after walks.

i stayed in a main house cosy double room and it was great. the staff were super attentive and the bed was really comfortable. i loved wandering around the village (it is so beautiful!). as i had my dog, i was meant to eat in the dog-friendly restaurant. the waiter suggested i move to a table near the bar for a better atmosphere (it was a lovely suggestion!).

the bathroom extractor fan was a bit noisy (but nothing major).

the spa are great, i go there and find a good pool area with several loungers! the gardens are also lovely, i walk there in the morning and take pleasure of the flowers. the staff are very attentive, i see they always provide service with a smile!

my room, Main House Cosy Double, face a noisy street, i don't sleep well. the bathroom seem old, the shower need to be repaired! the breakfast have limited options for vegetarians, i want more.
