Decent Stay with Disappointing Aspects

small robeslimited privacy
I feel the robes for the spa should accommodate more sizes. The current robes were too small. This made me avoid the spa. a window of another room faced directly into ours. We had to close the curtains for privacy. This was a shame.

road noiseloud traffic
Honestly, i felt a bit let down. our room faced the road, and the noise from passing cars was quite bothersome. They sped by so loudly. it was supposed to be a relaxing getaway, but the constant traffic made it difficult to unwind. i expected better soundproofing or perhaps a room further away from the street.

Lackluster Stay. Spa Access Issues

pool restrictionunpleasant manager
I found several issues . The spa did not allow children under 12 in the pool. This restriction was a significant problem since I booked partly for my daughter to use the facilities. The spa manager was also quite unpleasant about it. The restaurant proved average. The rice was overcooked and I found the breakfast more suited to a 3-star place, not what I expected for the price.

The room was spacious and very clean. Fresh towels were provided daily. I found the spa area particularly relaxing. It is set in a beautiful location. The staff were attentive. They went the extra mile to assist guests. Breakfast offered good service and delicious meals.
My only very slight complaint is that the hotel does not have a gym.

Excellent Stay! A Few Niggles Though

money valuespa facilitiesvery nice locationcold toast
This hotel offers very nice value for money. The spa facilities were definitely a highlight of my stay, and I used them several times. The location proved very nice for exploring the area, and I really appreciated the convenience. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation time.
The air conditioning in my lakeside view double room wasn't very effective. I was expecting better cooling during the heat wave I experienced. I never got the brown toast I asked for at breakfast. It was always cold when it arrived. I felt this was a bit disappointing.
Dining
8/10
The breakfast buffet offers many options, including fresh fruit and pastries, and the restaurant provides a menu with both local and international cuisine. The presentation was appealing. The restaurant offers a kid's menu, with various choices, suitable for children of all ages. There is also an extensive wine list with bottles from around the world.
Location
9/10
The hotel sits directly on the lakefront, with easy access to walking paths. A short walk gets you to the village, where you will find shops and local attractions. The hotel has on-site parking , for added convenience. This is really convenient. The views of the surrounding landscape are amazing.
Service
10/10
The reception staff members are available 24/7 to assist with inquiries. How good is that? The hotel offers daily housekeeping services, with great attention to detail. Room service is available during select hours.
Rooms
9/10
The rooms include a flat-screen television with satellite channels plus a modern private bathroom! Rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, which I appreciated. My room was spacious, with a desk and seating area, very comfortable to use.
