Fantastic River Views and Excellent Service!

Our room included a stand-alone bath and a separate bathroom! The restaurant staff were lovely, and the dinner was really good. I found a very comfy large bed with nice bedding. I also appreciated the hotel's advantageous parking option, a minute's walk away.
The room was a little too dark in the evening when I wanted to do my makeup.

Staff are very cute and helpful. I even got a free upgrade upon arrival! Breakfast service was excellent, thanks to Tirso and his team, who were attentive every morning. I am charmed!

I was impressed by the spacious rooms with great amenities! My beautiful, huge bedroom had a river view and joined a living room. I enjoyed the rainforest shower head and shower door. The room also included all expected amenities.

The hotel is well located on the Quayside! It makes walking around Gateshead easy. The hotel's quiet location at night is also appreciated, despite being minutes from the city's nightlife.

I found the food lovely, and the service was prompt. I especially appreciated the really good breakfast each morning. Drinks in the very comfortable bar were enjoyable. The bar staff were gracious and helpful too.

The gym facilities are minimal but sufficient! Luggage storage was available on the day of checkout. I found the check-out time of 11 gives a relaxed start to the morning. I appreciate that.

Tessie was friendly and efficient during breakfast. She ensured I had everything I needed. I enjoyed the smoked salmon Eggs Benedict. It was beautifully prepared. Stephanie at reception was amazing. She was knowledgeable and always smiling. The room offered a wonderful view of the Millennium Bridge.
I found the lighting in the hotel to be rather dark, even though it is beautiful.

The location was good.
I was disappointed with the room I got. The carpet had rips, tears, and staining. the room smelled like sewage, cigarettes, and wet dog. I had to buy my own air freshener at Tesco, as the staff's spray didn't help much.
