slow wififaulty ice machine
the wifi was slower than a snail on vacation . also , the ice machine on my floor was perpetually out of order , forcing me to trek to another level for my essential ice fix. the gym equipment seemed like it hadn't been updated since the early 2000s , complete with a treadmill that sounded like a dying walrus. and finally , the television remote was to have a mind of its own , constantly changing channels at random.

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel deserves recognition. the staff was attentive. I never needed to ask for anything, and their service was so good. i thoroughly enjoyed the chateaubriand one evening, and it was delicious. the room included thoughtful touches, such as luxury toiletries and a coffee machine.
My only very small negative is that i wasn't given much information on arrival about the food or spa facilities. I only received my room key.

the hotel is in a very convenient spot. you can easily visit the area's nature parks because they are close by. it makes exploring the beautiful landscapes hassle-free and adds a touch of serenity to your stay.

My room was very super clean and cozy. I found the bed particularly comfortable, great for restful sleep (which is essential on holiday). The fridge was useful, especially with fresh milk available. The location allowed easy travel to the Lake District.
I noticed a minor detail, one of the reception staff was less engaged compared to the others.

I had a room facing the parking lot, a view less inspiring than watching paint dry. The minibar prices seemed like highway robbery. I half expected to find a tiny burglar inside. the promised turndown service forgot to actually, you know, turn down anything. It was more like a turndown suggestion. The staff seemed vaguely aware of my existence, but not particularly concerned with my needs. Perhaps they were saving their enthusiasm for someone more important.

i found the facilities lovely the staff were helpful and friendly the breakfast was delicious i particularly enjoyed the swimming pool it was great for my little boy the food was nice too the staff were professional.
i asked for a large double bed unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable with a metal zip in the middle

the staff were very helpful and i loved the cozy fires. rooms were clean and spacious! i had a great massage in the spa, it was great value.
I didn't realize until afterwards the spa isn't included in the price. on arrival i paid to use the spa facilities, but it was overcrowded. There were not enough seats.
