Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa boasts a prime location, a stone's throw from a bus stop and a landing stage for lake boats, making Keswick and the surrounding Lake District easily accessible. Dining options include the Brasserie, known for quality food at reasonable prices, and the Mizu Restaurant; however, some guests have found the taste of some dishes not always matching their presentation. The rooms offer cleanliness and space, with some providing stunning lake views, but it's worth noting that not all rooms feature the picturesque views showcased in some promotional materials.

Really good stay

comfortable furniturelarge balconyfine views
The room featured very comfortable furniture and a large balcony, it had a fine view. The spa facilities are excellent, they offer a very relaxing experience. The external pool provides fine views.
The dinner in the brasserie was average.
Location
10/10
The hotel benefits from its unique location, a selling point for new guests (I agree). Bus service is available right outside the hotel. It's also close to a landing stage for lake boats, this makes getting around very easy.
Dining
9/10
I dined at both Mizu and the Falls Brasserie. The standard of food at both restaurants is very high, it provides value for money. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection including cereals, juices, yogurts, and pastries.
Facilities
9/10
The open areas of the hotel, including the bar and lounges, are well presented. The rooms are super clean and very comfortable. The outdoor pool is lovely, warm and offers great views over the hotel garden and surrounding landscape.
