i had a very nice break for my birthday. the staff were friendly and helpful. the building was spotlessly clean and my room was fabulous. leisure facilities were excellent, and food was delicious. drinks ensured my stay was nice.
i think breakfast could improve a little bit. i did have to work the machine to get tea. coffee first thing in the morning was not ideal.

the room had tv in the bathroom with a huge stand alone bath. balloons and chocolate birthday cake were in there. it also had a lovely view out the window, which i really like.

the afternoon tea was a really lovely visit. the sandwiches and cakes were delicious. the lawns restaurant meal was fine and every course was tremendous. breakfast choices were buffet style.

the hotel has an outdoor spa. sitting outside in the jacuzzi had nice field views. spa has pool, sauna, snow room all was great. the hotel garden is big, it is very charming.
