the staff was friendly. breakfast each morning was freshly made and it was fantastic. i had a glass of bubbly on arrival. the staff are a true credit to the business.
i think there are maintenance issues. on the first night the steam room wouldn't work. the mood lighting above the hot tub was not working. the fitted bath plug in the spa bath was removed and a cheap black rubber plug was used as replacement. this resulted in the spa bath emptying while i was in it.

i was welcomed with immediate warmth and efficiency. the rainfall shower was a particular highlight, i found it provided a revitalizing experience. the staff provided helpful local knowledge, which really enhanced my exploration of the area.
I found the limited hours for the jet bath a bit restrictive. This impacted my relaxation schedule. the notice regarding potential billing for water damage was also a bit disconcerting.

Breakfast was made to order and well presented. I loved the attention to detail. the bar featured a good selection of gins and wines. This made for enjoyable evenings. the food was AMAZING!!!

The room was clean and spacious. I felt instantly comfortable. the suite included excellent spa facilities such as a steam room, hot tub, and jacuzzi bath. This really added to the luxury. it was very relaxing.

The on-site parking was convenient. It saved me the hassle of searching for spaces. spa treatments were available. I considered this an added bonus. the hot tub water is changed for each new guest. This assured hygiene.

The hotel's location allowed convenient walks to nearby attractions. This reduced my reliance on driving. bowness and the city center were both easily accessible. I appreciated the central position. the surrounding area was very quiet.

Really good Boutique Stay

Lucas provided a warm welcome and showed me to the Sugar Suite. The room featured a separate lounge area and a bathroom with a steam room. Breakfast offered tasty choices and excellent service. The staff was attentive and friendly. Catherine offered to chill our bottle of fizz, so it was ready for our return.
I expected the place to be a bit more secluded when I arrived, but it became insignificant as I entered the building.

The hotel features a well stocked bar beside a real coal fire. A hot tub is available , and it's cleaned after each guest, so there are no hygiene problems. The hotel also offers private yard access for some cottages.

The rooms are super clean and include little extras like towel art and chocolates. Rose petals added a nice touch, and the rooms are cleaned daily, WHICH gives peace of mind. Rooms have TVs in the hot tub area for entertainment.

The breakfast menu had great choices, and the food tasted very good! Breakfast in the room was lovely and of great quality, everything perfect. The bar is well stocked. It ends the day perfectly indeed!

Lucas was fantastic through my whole stay and showed us all the elements of the room. All the staff were warm and wonderful and shared local knowledge. This was so helpful. Catherine and Lauren were helpful, A PLUS.

The staff showed fantastic attention. The owner and all staff did enough for us. We got a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival.
The check-in process was disorganized. The room needed serious maintenance. The furnishings and carpets were outdated. Cracked tiles and loose grouting was in the bathroom areas.

we were told we were too late to eat in the restaurant at check-in. the room's netflix didn't work, so movies were out that night.
