I received an unexpected upgrade from room 5 to room 2, a VERY nice surprise. The staff decorated the room with banners for my partner's birthday, a thoughtful touch. The cleanliness throughout was really good, and the location allowed an easy walk to the lake in about twenty minutes. I found many coffee shops, bars, and restaurants very close by.

The leisure centre is a fantastic added perk, a space with community engagement, offering children's swim lessons. The facility includes a well-equipped gym and provides access to a sauna and steam room.

Breakfast needs pre-ordering the night before , but it proves worthwhile, offering a scrummy full English breakfast. I found the choices satisfying to start the day. There is a variety of options to suit different preferences.

The room was spacious with tasteful decorations and contained all necessary amenities. I appreciated the super clean en suite bathroom, the shower had powerful water pressure, and the bath sheets were fluffy. The super king bed provided GREAT comfort.

I found the location suitable. It was close to the train station. Breakfast had a good selection. It was cooked well and presented nicely.
The room was situated in the roof. This meant it had a low ceiling directly above the bed.

i found the room situated in the roof eaves. a dangerously low ceiling existed directly above the bed. i believe other rooms do not share this issue.
