quiet stay near hexham
quiet location friendly staff private cottage
the location is a short drive from the town. the surroundings are quiet. staff members were friendly and helpful. the room was a separate cottage, offering privacy.
the room was not serviced daily , and i did not understand the reason.

The hotel serves evening meals. it also offers sunday lunch. i observed that the restaurant provides an ale selection. Allendale golden plover ale was available on draught. the dining area looked clean and well kept.

comfy bed handy manual simple exploration
The room felt spacious, and it had a very comfy bed. the inn provides a manual with recommendations for places to eat. the location is close to the a69. It made exploring northumberland simple.
The room wasnt serviced each day. I was aware of this, but the reason remained unclear.

the room was large and included a comfortable bed. the bathroom had a big, efficient shower, offering plenty of hot water, a pleasant feature after a day out.

i had dinner in the bar, and it was delicious. the fish pie and lamb tagine were well prepared. the breakfast was also delicious, with good service.

the staff at the bar was lovely, polite, and friendly. they went out of their way to help. the owners provided a very handy manual with local recommendations.

clean room excellent water pressure tasty breakfast
the large twin room was clean! the shower in the bathroom had great water pressure. the provided breakfast was also really tasty and filling.
