the staff was attentive enough.
my room was way too small, it barely accommodated me. the breakfast service was slow, and the coffee was repeatedly cold. the old-fashioned deposit i payed it has not been released yet after 10 days.

a stay to remember

amazing friendlinessdelicious foodcastle viewpaper form
the hotel staff displayed amazing friendliness and were eager to assist. food from both room service and the restaurant tasted delicious. the steak and ale pie is highly recommended. the spacious and modern room offered a view of the square with the castle as a backdrop.
when approaching the hotel on foot , i found NO indication that the reception desk was on the floor below. paper check in form seemed pointless. room cards did not work.

the breakfast featured an excellent selection for club-level rooms , each dish carefully prepared. the evening hospitality also was perfect. overall , the variety was ample.

i found the staff helpful and cute. they catered immediately to one person in our group with celiac disease. it was also someone's birthday and. the staff in the level were excellent and i had a wonderful break.
i ordered room service and housekeeping said they would get the plates the next morning but they didn't. i returned at 9pm to a room untouched and the bed unmade. usually i leave them outside but i was told not to. this wasn't what i expected for a five-star hotel.

Adequate stay. Some downsides noted

lukewarm teaglass door
the breakfast options were disappointing there was not much available for a continental style breakfast. we asked for tea both mornings it arrived lukewarm each time we had to ask for a warmer pot. the toilet's privacy was not good the thin glass door is also the door to the hallway so you can hear everything.
