Absolutely fantastic castle stay!

The warm and friendly welcome upon arrival after online check-in was lovely, especially with the weather over 30 degrees. i found air conditioning already running in my room, so it was delightfully cool and comfortable. breakfast offered lots of choices with cheerful staff who made everything easy. Nothing was too much trouble for them. i really enjoyed my weekend and plan to come back soon!
i noticed some areas could use a bit of updating.

the grounds included peacocks that strutted around I found it quite fine. the location is amazing the castle preserved a lot of its original features. the room had a massive bathroom with both a shower and a bath
