the gym had three treadmills. it also had two stationary bikes. i liked the family room, it had sufficient space for everyone. breakfast offered good cooked options, including a full english.

this was a SUPER stay. my room, a double room, had bottled water and a biscuit EVERY DAY. the restaurant provided good food at REASONABLE prices. the outside jacuzzi pool was great AS WELL as the inside one.

Excellent Spa and Dining
art deco style
I found the spa to be clean with friendly staff. The decor has a lovely art deco style, with great furniture. The grounds are wonderful. I loved seeing the peacock roaming. I especially enjoyed the food. The restaurant staff was very attentive.
There was no one at the desk when i checked out. Breakfast did not open early enough (7.30am on saturday) for me. i missed my brekki as a result.

The double room was nicely sized with a comfortable bed and good lighting. I found the bathroom to be well-equipped, including fresh towels and toiletries. The room's temperature was easy to adjust and the noise level was minimal (i slept very well).

the restaurant food was very good.
i had to pay extra for two dressing gowns, and i wasn't expecting that. i basically hired them because i had to return them before leaving the hotel. this wasn't very transparent and it felt unnecessary.

i found the grounds to be well maintained. the gardens were beautiful. there was an outdoor pool that was open early. the hotel has many green plants indoors.
i noticed the breakfast buffet was missing some items.

the food was quite good, especially the homemade steak burger. there were also breakfast options available. the restaurant manager who served me was polite. i found that to be a highlight.

the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. the hotel offers a 24-hour check-in service. they even called to ensure all was still ok when i was late to check in, showing a great level of care.
