the breakfast was really nice. the quality seemed evident from the crisp bacon to the poached eggs. service was attentive and the atmosphere felt relaxed. i enjoyed the breakfast, it ticked all the boxes.

I was told to log my car into the car park for my stay. i received a parking fine for the last day. i tried ringing the hotel but nobody picked up.

The staff were helpful and friendly. They arranged taxis for us when needed. Check-in was quick even when we arrived late at night. The pool was also lovely and clean for a swim (i visited with my daughter).

The phones in the rooms did not work. Nobody told us about this, so we had to go down to the bar to order room service (and still pay the tray charge!). The heater in my original room would not turn off. I had to be moved to another room eventually because it was unbearably hot.

The check-in was straightforward. I found plenty of free parking available. my room felt very clean and spacious. breakfast had a fantastic range of choices, including continental options and a cooked breakfast.

The bar proved expensive, and its decor felt somewhat dated. the spa facilities seemed dated, and i noticed a potential health and safety issue. the jacuzzi lacked steps. I had to maneuver awkwardly to start it, a process i found quite dangerous.
