ACCEPTABLE overall, BUT some ISSUES
tasty foodhelpful staffoutdated roomstained carpet
the food was quite tasty , I found. the breakfast was particularly nice with a GOOD full english option. all the staff members i interacted with were friendly AND helpful.
the room i was in felt a bit outdated , UNFORTUNATELY. there were some stains on the carpet and also some hair in the bathroom, i noticed. the spa facilities seemed to need some updating.

I totally loved the warm welcome from the front desk, it was super! i even got a fantastic tour of the hotel. the room service was so attentive, treating me like royalty. Everything was great. i reminded me of i owned a fine english countryside mansion.
like. i had to book everything in advance!?! also! some lockers in the changing area were broken. A little inconvenient. but, everything else made up for it!

The dining room faces the garden, I found it adorable. The swimming pool was clean. I appreciated that a lot. The staff at reception gave me the paint name of my bedroom's wall. It was sage green, from The Little Green Company.
The breakfast service moved slowly! I found it a minor inconvenience.

the room was clean. breakfast was great. i enjoyed the well maintained grounds. the staff was great to needs. the hotel welcomed dogs and provided a comfortable dog bed with a new toy.
i was woken up early each morning by loud banging coming from above the kitchen. the room offered no view of outside.
