The hotel grounds were beautiful. I admired the peaceful gardens surrounding the hotel (it reminded me of a dream). Our room had a comfortable bed. Breakfast included a lovely variety of options. The restaurant food tasted delicious.
Access to our room required navigating through some back office areas.

The dinner was a slight letdown. The online presentation gave me higher expectations, but the actual food was pretty standard, not gourmet, and the presentation felt basic. the wine list also seemed limited. it was like they were cutting corners on food quality, a shame. during one meal, i asked a waiter for two cafe lattes, and i got a dirty look. she didn't say a thing. It felt rude and unprofessional.

The staff was friendly and helpful! the food and beverage were of a high standard. i found the grounds and flowerbeds beautifully kept and lovely to look at. everything was clean and well maintained. I appreciated the care.
The ladies changing rooms are quite small. it could benefit from a bit more space. everything else was perfect. I just thought the changing rooms could use a slight expansion.

The location was NICE, the grounds were well kept.
Our room was TOO hot. A very small fan did little to alleviate the heat. The door handle was loose. The window handle FELL off when I tried to open the window. The INDOOR and outdoor pools needed an update. The outdoor pool was small.

I found a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. the beds were comfortable. the grounds are lovely and peaceful. It was perfect for walks. the breakfast was excellent with very good gluten-free options, especially delicious gf croissants.
The spa facilities seemed a bit past their best. i did use the pool and jacuzzi indoors, but it reminded me of an upgrade is due. the steam room leaked through the door, so it only filled the top half. Therefore, when you lay down, there was indeed no steam.

I stayed in a roomy room. It was spacious and comfortable, with enough storage. there were no modern usb sockets, but that was a minor point. the room had a tv in the lounge and a bed and bathroom upstairs.

The staff thrived on excellence in customer service. They always had time to help. I also enjoyed the dog agility area. It was great fun. Walks directly from the hotel were excellent too.
My double bed was two beds pushed together. It was uncomfortable. The swimming pool lacked a poolside shower. I had to walk wet from the changing rooms. the à la carte menu was restrictive. There were no chicken dishes.
