i appreciated the thoughtful touches in the interconnected corner suite we booked. i liked that the staff placed my children's stuffed toys on the bed after making them. breakfast stood out with a good selection and quality ingredients. it's great they offered plant milk alternatives, not just the usual soya.
The hotel was a bit tricky to find. There wasn't a large sign at the front entrance, just a small wooden sign.
Dining

Breakfast offered a wide variety of foods and drinks. Everything tasted superb. i noticed a good selection of plant milk alternatives besides soya, great for those with dietary restrictions. The pancakes were a hit with the children.

the breakfast was excellent. it really saved me from having to find a cafe EVERY morning.
I was expecting a real five-star experience, but there were some definite misses. my room DID NOT have a desk. also, the housekeeping wasn't very thorough. The bathroom wasn't cleaned daily.

The Beautiful Double Room had a walk-in closet. The breakfast buffet offered many options. The reception staff gave helpful information regarding fjord cruises.
The hotel lacked a large sign at the front entrance. This made it difficult to locate. This small detail was a slight inconvenience upon arrival.
