i thought the building itself was very excellent. the gardens were spacious to explore. it was good that i could open the bedroom window for fresh air.
the bedroom lacked space to put my things. the bed felt too narrow. i found the wine list to be poor.

the gardens were lovely.
the room was disappointing and very basic. i found lamps not working and reported it. breakfast was expensive at £15 a head, but they ran out of hot food. i find this unacceptable for a large hotel and the service was slow.
