I booked a spa break. I was massively disappointed with the hotel. Rooms felt old fashioned and outdated, though they were clean and comfy at least. We asked for water for the room at reception. We were told we had to walk back to the restaurant to collect this ourselves.

I found the staff polite and attentive. the spa garden was novel and relaxing. It offered a beautifully designed space to unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings (a real escape!).

I was told upon arrival that the indoor facilities were out of use. this should have been reflected in the price. I don't think i should have been charged full price for half service. also, when i phoned for room service, i was told there was a £5 charge, so ordering drinks didn't seem worth it.
