excellent stay with attentive staff

unique items clean bedding

the breakfast was excellent, with unique items like date jam. my ground-floor room included smart lighting and soft, clean bedding. complimentary drinks were available by the pool and beach area, a big plus.

the restaurants were mostly closed, a food challenge as we were not close to places to eat with the kids. the air con was horrendous, even turning up to the warmest setting did not feel comfortable. we had to keep turning it on and off.

The restaurants were often closed, made finding food difficult. the air conditioning did not work correctly. It only alternated between too hot and too cold. this made the room very uncomfortable.

fantastic stay!

cooperative staff comfortable bedding

i found the staff very cooperative and always ready to assist. valet parking was available and very convenient. i used the indoor olympic size pool, and it was heated and fantastic. bedding was very comfortable.

i noticed the mini bar was empty, and other amenities needed refilling. bathroom appliances looked a little rusted, and some didn't seem to work properly. the hotel itself is great to walk around in and looks beautiful, though.

acceptable stay, but some issues surfaced

failed tour water leak

The breakfast included a good spread. I found many choices to my liking.

The promised tour of the grounds never happened. I waited, but staff failed to deliver. i booked a spa treatment at the valmont spa, it was not specified that there was another spa location on site, and i was booked at the other spa location. This resulted in frustration. also, the shower room was not good, water leaked out onto the floor.
