i contacted the hotel prior to my stay with a specific room request. gemma at reception and lucia, the guest experience manager, were helpful. lucia found a room that better suited my request after i had to stay in the original room for two nights. i appreciate their kindness and patience in resolving the situation.
during my stay, i found that the resort looked tired in several areas. it seemed to need some tlc. in hindsight, i should have requested a room closer to the restaurant for my mum.

The restaurant offered good quality food with plenty of choices. Warm plates for meals were available where the chefs cooked fresh fish or meats. the wine list featured reasonably priced and good quality wines. the dining room provides views overlooking the marina.

The complex is close to a fantastic beach. A lovely promenade allows for easy walks. the town is a short walk away and provides access to many shops. there is a shopping complex located on the other side of the bay if a longer walk is preferred.

the bungalow had clean, spacious, and quiet accommodation. the beds were very comfortable for sleeping. a good-sized electric kettle and mugs were available in the kitchen area. housekeeping kept the bungalow super clean and were cheerful and accommodating.

a mixed bag of experiences
poor cleaningreserved sunbeds
the room cleaning was not good. they only made the beds. the floor was not cleaned and sand stayed there. i also always found the sunbeds at the pool occupied because people reserved them early.

The hotel had a good location (close to many facilities).
My stay wasn't perfect. I found a lack of umbrellas around each pool. Every other sunbed was under direct sunlight. People left towels on shaded sunbeds then went to the beach. Staff did not act on this (i felt frustrated).
