Decent Stay, Some Disappointments

The lighting in the room did not work. During the night, I could not see anything inside. I reported the issue to the reception, but they did not provide a solution.

The main restaurant disappointed me. the service at dinner seemed slow and disorganized. our room was not cleaned between 10 am and 3 pm. I had to call multiple times. eventually, a manager offered to move us during cleaning, but i preferred they clean while we were there. messy service marred the stay.

i loved the unobstructed river view from my upgraded room on the 20th floor. the room was modern and comfortable. i also appreciated the soft, pure white towels and the two glass bottles of water provided daily, along with chocolate at night.
the shower stall being all glass and visible to the bed felt a little awkward initially.

chloe from customer relations emailed me prior to arrival. she prepared the room and granted me early check-in. paulo provided solid advice regarding castle tours, and the restaurant staff delivered attentive service.

the breakfast was tasty. i had to leave early for my flight though, so i could not enjoy it for long.
My premium room was quite expensive, but the bed was damaged. the shower also looked to be in poor condition. The bathtub faucet was difficult to turn, i guess since it wasn't used often. this was not what i expected from a five-star hotel.

the room on the 16th floor gave a lovely view of the vasco da gama bridge. i loved the shower. fresh water was provided in the car daily. everyone was courteous, professional, and very helpful.
i noticed a stain on the carpet next to the bed.
