Underwhelming Experience
beautiful beachattention lack
The beach is beautiful, and the pools are good.
I had requested a second cleaning of my room when I went out, but it was not done. The room was only partially cleaned the first time. The bedspreads were adjusted, but some food remnants remained. This lack of attention is disappointing for a five-star hotel.

A Romantic Holiday
amazing flavorcute atmosphereattentive staff
Thai Pantry presented amazing flavor. Every dish showed flavor. A cute atmosphere was present. The staff was attentive. Nina, Marina, Mo, and Jib were especially kind. They elevated my dining experience. I reminded me of a valued guest. I want to recommend this place for authentic Thai cuisine.
The resort is located toward the end of the area. Popular destinations took a lot of time to reach. It requires a lot of time to get somewhere desirable.

The breakfast buffet included many selections. I enjoyed fresh fruit. The omelet station offered custom creations. The coffee was robust. The service was attentive. The restaurant overlooked the ocean. I sat there watching the waves.

The fitness center has treadmills. I saw elliptical machines. Free weights and weight machines were provided. The equipment looked modern. The pool area featured several pools. There were a kids' pool and an adults-only pool. A swim-up bar was available. The towel service was provided.

Superb Hotel Experience

Kate, Warmmy, Golf, Tanny, and JJ provided superb service and amazing food at our dinners at DOCG. We were greeted with sincere smiles and top notch care. The food was undeniably amazing and I recommend the baked eggplant to everyone visiting the hotel.
The hours to snorkel are limited due to the tide and that was inconvenient for me. The beach itself is small because of the reef limiting the space for activities. I found it difficult to find an open restaurant for lunch on certain days of the week so I struggled.

The staff enhanced my visit, they were genuinely friendly and always attentive. i especially remember sun. His smile was so infectious. our room was kept so clean by nang. The towel animals were a sweet, unexpected touch. my son loved his muay thai lessons. The trainer was so good with him.
i found the service slow at times, and requests often needed several follow-ups. poolside service was especially rare. it made relaxation a little difficult, though the setting was so beautiful.

The resort features multiple pools catering to various preferences, each is well-kept. there were also water slides. My children especially loved them. plenty of loungers surround the pools, and shaded areas provided respite from the sun.

Service Issues and Disappointing Food
slow serviceindifferent staff
The food service was slow. I waited more than 45 minutes at the Beach Grill, and over 35 minutes at the Merchant Kitchen. Drinks took a long time too, a logistic issue with one bar handled all drinks. The Merchant Kitchen food was not good and staff didn't care when I made requests. The complimentary shuttle is a bus that looks old.

adrian was a amazing server. food was delicious and the setting was perfect. the drinks were delicious and the service was lovely. the restaurant also featured a saxophone for musical accompaniment. overall, it was a great atmosphere with an oceanfront view.
