amazing stay at this scottish gem!

the staff was friendly. the breakfast was nice, and i especially loved the team building event happening on the lawn. they were playing the highland games, and it was so fun to watch. our rooms, eddleston and darnhall, were interconnected, perfect for keeping everyone together!
i wish the time there was longer. it wasn't nearly enough. the time flew by, it really did!

the staff were friendly and helpful . the breakfast offered a good variety of options each morning. i used the pool and sauna which were quite relaxing after a long day.
the room i had smelled like cigarettes throughout my stay. i could hear every footstep from the room above which kept me awake. the tv was temperamental and slow to function.

the hotel has beautiful grounds perfect for walks the staff were friendly and helpful i found the food to be simple and tasty. i really liked the warm pool with its jacuzzi and sauna available i enjoyed lovely walks around the hotel. my room felt nice and very clean.
the floorboards were creaky i could hear noise from the next room i also heard the people above me at 5am.

The breakfast was superb, including various choices on the hot plate. i found the gym well-equipped. It contributed to my fitness routine. the swimming pool was also great.
the lack of plug sockets in the room was slightly inconvenient, because one was used by the tv.
