Wonderful stay
maintained grounds great food relaxing swimming pool
I appreciated the well-kept grounds surrounding the hotel. The food in the restaurant was great (especially the breakfast). The swimming pool was nice, with a relaxing way to unwind after a day of travel.
The decor in some areas seemed somewhat dated.

The hotel has a swimming pool that opens at 8 AM, great for early morning swims. There is also a spa, though I did not have the opportunity to use those facilities during this visit. I have heard the area is great.

amazing stay at this scottish gem!
friendly staff highland games interconnected room
the staff was friendly. the breakfast was nice, and i especially loved the team building event happening on the lawn. they were playing the highland games, and it was so fun to watch. our rooms, eddleston and darnhall, were interconnected, perfect for keeping everyone together!
i wish the time there was longer. it wasn't nearly enough. the time flew by, it really did!

the staff couldn't be any friendlier. they were more cute and helpful, always ready with a smile! everything ran smoothly. if you needed something extra, it came quickly and efficiently to your room.

lovely stay in a cozy space
beautiful grounds friendly staff warm pool
the hotel has beautiful grounds perfect for walks the staff were friendly and helpful i found the food to be simple and tasty. i really liked the warm pool with its jacuzzi and sauna available i enjoyed lovely walks around the hotel. my room felt nice and very clean.
the floorboards were creaky i could hear noise from the next room i also heard the people above me at 5am.

i found the breakfast service quite good the food was delicious it included a variety of options to choose from and was served promptly. the dinner menu had lovely meals prepared with high-quality ingredients.

superb breakfast well-equipped gym relaxing swimming pool
The breakfast was superb, including various choices on the hot plate. i found the gym well-equipped. It contributed to my fitness routine. the swimming pool was also great.
the lack of plug sockets in the room was slightly inconvenient, because one was used by the tv.
