Breakfast had lots of options. The grounds are indeed beautiful and facilities are plentiful. The swimming area was great I enjoyed a short drive to Alton Towers. I found it a lovely family retreat.
My room got warm. I wish it had been a little cooler during the night.

i found our room, a beautiful king room, very comfortable. the breakfast included a wide variety of options. the grounds were beautiful and so well maintained. i especially liked the attentive staff.
i did notice the internet access was somewhat slow at times.

the grounds look fine, and i appreciate the kept grounds. my room was clean and spacious with a view. the room perhaps looks a bit dull, but it had good value. the staff was fantastic and couldn't have done more for me.
the overall maintenance could use an overhaul. i noticed some loose handrails near the pool stairs.
