I found the breakfast buffet offered plenty of choice and the coffee was good. The swimming pool, sauna, and spa were available for use. Parking was plentiful. That's a big plus. I appreciated that the hotel has a bar and restaurant on the premises.

pleasant stay and excellent service

lovely teamgood foodpool facilityfacade light
I had a very pleasant stay. the team working there are so lovely and the facilities are good. I especially enjoyed the pool, steam room, and sauna. the main negative was the walls. They are a little thin. i was woken up a number of times by people returning to their rooms late.
our room was at the front of the building, and the facade lights shone into the room. this made it difficult to sleep! i requested these be turned off, but was told that they are on a timer they couldn't control!? not being able to sleep wasn't great after driving over 6 hours.
Dining
9/10
The restaurant has some decent options. I eat halal so i had the vegetarian pizza and fish and chips. ionut served us, and he was very helpful. The breakfast was equally good with a decent selection.
Rooms
8/10
The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Housekeeping ensured it was clean every day. i liked having tea facilities available. The bathroom was modern with good water pressure, so showering was easy.
Location

It is round the corner from the marine and the castle. i walked easily to the shops and pubs nearby. the hotel had ample space to park. This made getting around easy.

mixed feelings about the stay

acceptable locationlumpy bedstained sheets
the location was acceptable for exploring the surrounding area.
The room seemed quite dated. i found stained sheets and the bed was lumpy, difficult to get a good night's sleep. opening the windows wasn't possible as they were stuck. The room felt very stuffy. also, the bathroom lacked an extractor fan.
