table service helpful staff fine views
My room had a double bed. The breakfast included table service, which I appreciated. Staff changed my room when my mother struggled with stairs, upgrading it. The views from the room were fine.
The floor in the cellar bar area felt sticky.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues
slow service hot water
The room was clean when I arrived.
The hot water situation was a major problem. I could not shower before dinner. I also found the service at the bar to be quite slow. I waited for quite some time before anyone acknowledged me, and getting a menu took even longer. I ended up having to seek out a staff member to get the menu.

A Truly Nice Stay!
christmas decorations log fire cozy seating breakfast selection
The hotel had Christmas decorations that were beautiful. I saw log fires burning in many areas. Seating areas were cozy. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! It offered a wide selection with food cooked to order.
The bedroom keys didn't work correctly upon arrival, so I couldn't enter the room initially.
Service
9/10
The duty manager approached me at check-in and offered to serve bistro food in the bar, given the winter weather, and I thought that was really nice. Bar staff like Josh and Luke offered excellent care, a detail I appreciated.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel includes a ramp at the front, offering access to reception, I noticed that. I stayed in Room 401, a twin room near reception. It features an accessible bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower. I requested an extra shower stool, and it arrived promptly.
Location
9/10
The setting is great. The hotel provides convenient access to nearby local attractions. Exploring the surrounding areas added a layer of enjoyment to my experience .
