the recent refurbishment enhanced the bar and public areas. the food quality impressed me. i found the staff genuinely friendlywith a relaxed atmosphere. the carvery was particularly really good.
I noticed an air of general unkemptness in some areas. It was slight, but still noticeable.

I loved that the double room was a good size and clean. we also appreciated that i was able to check in early. This helped us settle in before the wedding. wedding coordinator Kerry earned our thanks. She helped greatly with everything.
the check-in process felt a bit disorganized, and i found some confusion regarding the welcome gift, which needed paid for despite our understanding it was already covered.

the hotel had quiet surroundings, giving it a peaceful feel, and it was handy for visiting the north coast attractions. the setting allowed for a relaxing trip away from busier areas.

The staff members were helpful and pleasant. The spa provided a steam room that was functional. I enjoyed a lovely breakfast with tasty items. The cocktails served were very nice too.
The room felt slightly chilly and could benefit from some updates.
