uneven experience
poor foodslow service
The bar food was not good. prices was too high for the poor quality. service was slow. I felt forgotten after being seated. paying was difficult too because the system was down that night. i had to use a card machine at the door for payment.

The hotel location PROVED ideal. It's close to many restaurants. I found parking easy. The bar had a pleasant atmosphere. I will book again.
i noticed a SLIGHT chemical smell in the room. It made me nauseous.

the check-in was quick, and the staff were really friendly. my room was a good size. i also found the hotel to be very clean (always a plus). i could walk to the cruise terminals in about ten minutes.
The pool area smelled strongly of chlorine. This was noticeable through the air vents in my room.

Breakfast included a varied buffet. I especially liked the fresh fruit selection. the restaurant also had a dinner menu that included several vegetarian choices. the bar staff were attentive and quick with drinks.

I was VERY happy with my room's cleanliness. Everything felt fresh. The staff was friendly and professional (especially in resolving my queries). I appreciated the hotel's proximity to restaurants and bars. They even surprised me with complimentary wine, water, AND chocolates upon arrival!
The jacuzzi was out of service, and the water was TOO hot.

the room was spacious, i noted top quality linen. the location is great, it is very central. netflix is available via cromcast. the breakfast buffet was excellent, also newspapers were available.
The fridge cooler was not working and i had to place my insulin in the reception fridge. This was needed to keep it at the correct storage temperature.
