classic stay with scenic views

room upgradeattentive staffmissing air-conditioning
i received a room upgrade when i arrived, it was lovely. the room and bathroom were very large and the water pressure was fantastic. i had a choice of a separate bath and shower. dinner and the complimentary breakfast were lovely and the staff very attentive.
the gym could have been better. there was no full-size swimming pool. the whole hotel would benefit from air-conditioning.
Location
10/10
the hotel sits near the lake, and it provides amazing views of the surrounding landscape. there are also many little waterfalls around the grounds (it made for beautiful photos).
Dining
9/10
